This year, the 1,500-strong crowd were able to get close to the Audi R18 e-tron quattro that won the 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours and take a look at its hybrid system. Several racing drivers were also there to sign autographs.
The luckiest guests were the 30 who won a lap as a passenger in a car used for the Audi Driving Experience programme.
In just over a week’s time, the two Audi R18 e-tron quattros that will be competing in the full FIA World Endurance Championship season will be on their way to Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet in the south of France for the WEC Prologue, the official practice sessions held on 27 and 28 March.
