United Autosports will debut in LM P2 at Petit Le Mans with an Oak Pescarolo Judd. The U.S. team will receive technical support from the French of Dams.
Concurrent regular Grand-Am, in FIA GT3 or by Blancpain Endurance Series, the Indianapolis-based team made a notable appearance in ILMC in Zhuhai last year with an Audi R8 LMS. The team will return to Road Atlanta on October 1, this time with an LM P2 Pescarolo Judd Oak. Dams will provide technical support to the project that has the aim of getting an invitation for the Le Mans 24 Hours 2012. Zak Brown, co-owner of United Autosports, will be driving with Mark Patterson and the winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1997 Stefan Johansson.
Richard Dean, driver and co-owner of United Autosports "Road Atlanta is a legendary track and this year's entrants are top-shelf; I speak for all of the United Autosports drivers when I say that we are thrilled to be a part of this field and eager to get out there and run against some of the top Le Mans Prototype teams in the world."
