Organised by the European Le Mans Series, the Ligier European Series is kicking off next year. Five races are on the calendar for this inaugural season and the Ligier JS P4s and Ligier JS2 Rs will be outfitted with Michelin tyres. The races will be held the same weekends as ELMS rounds.
The Ligier European Series is coming!

Launched on 18 July 2019 at the Barcelona circuit, the Ligier European Series is a single marque series of Ligier JS P4s and JS2 Rs. The cars will be driven by one or two-driver crews (Bronze or Silver) and will be equipped with Michelins. During the races, at least one pit stop will be mandatory.

The season will kick off 3-4 April 2020 at Barcelona, then the series will head to Monza, Italy on 8-9 May. The Le Castellet circuit will host the third round on 17-18 July. After the summer break, competitors will compete at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit on 18-19 September and the season will end at the Portimão circuit in Portugal on 23-24 October 2020.

The programme for each race event will be as follows: a one-hour free practice on Friday morning, two 20-minute qualifying sessions on Friday afternoon, two one-hour races (one on Saturday morning and another that afternoon) for a total of 3:40 of track time!

THe Ligier European Series is an ideal competition platform for gentlemen-drivers looking to show their skills at many of the greatest European circuits, as well as for young talents working to rise in the ranks of endurance racing.

Applications to join the Ligier European Series will be accepted beginning mid-October 2019 through the end of February 2020. For more info on the series, please contact entry@ligiereuropeanseries.com
