Luxury Racing and Pescarolo Team, two French teams entered respectively in LM GTE (Am and Pro) and LM P1, link their programmes in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

Paddocks can sometimes be the location of unexpected encounters. During the 2011 LMS season, at the initiative of Joël Rivière who is deeply involved in Pescarolo Team, Henri Pescarolo and Luxury Racing devised a common synergy between their teams.

After several months of discussions and exchanges, Luxury Racing and Pescarolo Team decided to announce their association. The Sebring 12 hours, the first race of the WEC 2012 will therefore see the public launched the partnership between one of the oldest teams in LM P1 and one of the most ambitious GT teams. Only a sport like endurance racing could give rise to such an arrangement. In the current economic climate, the grouping and associations between companies who already very strong, can allowing them to be more ambitious and competitive.

Henri Pescarolo has surprised many by announcing a comprehensive programme for the 2012 season. The first months have demonstrated the growing power of the Sarthe based team. The Pescarolo 01 in its 2011 version will begin the championship at Sebring. A new Pescarolo 03 under construction, will appear at Spa, and participate in all the subsequent FIA World Endurance Championship races (including the 24 Hours of Le Mans), and entrusted by its Japanese manufacturer, the Dome will race at Spa and Le Mans. It will be a busy time in La Sarthe as a little red complements Pescarolo green.
