Ferrari and Charles Leclerc onboard for 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual!

Italian manufacturer Ferrari has confirmed its line-up for the inaugural 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual (13-14 June), confirming that Monegasque Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc will join its stellar driver line-up.

Joining Leclerc in the No. 52 Ferrari 488 GTE Evo will be fellow F1 racer Antonio Giovinazzi who hails from Italy, alongside his fellow countrymen and experienced sim racers, Enzo Bonito and David Tonizza.

Sharing driving duties in the No. 51 Ferrari AF Corse entry will be regular WEC competitor Nicklas Nielsen from Denmark alongside Italian racing driver, Federico Leo.  They will be joined by sim racers Kasper Stoltze and Amos Laurito.  In the No. 71 cockpit is regular WEC GTE driver Miguel Molina who is joined by South Africa’s David Perel. Completing the line-up will be sim specialists, Danilo Santoro and Jordy Zwiers.

Another huge announcement this afternoon came from across the Atlantic as Corvette Racing confirmed its ultra-impressive line-up with IMSA driver and former Daytona 24 Hours winner Jordan Taylor heading up the No. 63 GTE entry alongside fellow Corvette Racing driver and former WEC competitor, Nicky Catsburg. Sim racers Alex Voss and Laurin Heinrich compete their line-up.

At the wheel of the sister No. 64 Corvette C7.R car will be sportscar maestro and Le Mans specialist Jan Magnussen plus regular Corvette Racing driver, Tommy Milner. The experienced duo will be joined by Danish GT driver Dennis Lind and sim racer Alen Terzic.

Furthermore, Richard Mille Racing Team confirmed a super strong all-female line-up in the No. 50 LMP car with Katherine Legge, Tatiana Calderon and Sophia Floersch – the same trio that will also share an LMP2 car in this year’s ELMS under the same Richard Mille Racing banner. The threesome will be joined by sim racer, Emily Jones.

Successful Swiss LMP2 team Cool Racing also announced its line-up with WEC regulars Nicolas Lapierre and Antonin Borga joined by sim racers, Erwan Barbier and Maxime Scalabrini.

Finally, Dempsey-Proton Racing have confirmed its foursome will be comprised of regular WEC racer Riccardo Pera plus Loek Hartog, who at just 16-years-old is certainly one to watch.  The duo will be paired with sim racers Michael Francesconi and Kevin van Dooren.
