A Formula 1 World Champion and still active in that discipline, at the end of January the Spanish driver will take part in the Rolex 24 at Daytona in Florida on January 27th and 28th. At a press conference held today for the official tests known as the ROAR Before the Rolex 24, he expressed his intentions relative to the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Fernando Alonso discusses the 24 Hours of Le Mans during the press conference: "The Le Mans 24 Hours and the Triple Crown (the Triple Crown consists of three legendary races every driver dreams of winning: the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Indianapolis 500 and the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Monaco, Ed.) is another target. If I can fit the Le Mans 24 Hours this year since I'm not doing the Indy 500, that would be great and hopefully the following year the Indy 500 can be in the plan again."
