From the official testing sessions known as the Prologue at Monza for the World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) to the second place finish in the LMP2 Teams Trophy by way of a one-two in the LMP2 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 2017 season for Chinese team Jackie Chan DC Racing (cars run by Jota Sport) was certainly exciting.
New to the LMP2 class, Jackie Chan DC Racing was smart to rely on successful veteran team Jota Sport for support and to surround itself with talented individuals who together have formed one of the best teams in the field.
The proof is in the pudding: six podium finishes including three wins in nine races, allowing the Chinese outfit to finish second in the standings for the FIA Endurance LMP2 Teams Trophy, and as the cherry on top in addition to its one-two in the LMP2 class, the second and third steps on the overall podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
In just one year, Jackie Chan DC Racing has climbed to the top of its class and fully intends to maintain momentum during the 2018/2019 Super Season of the World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC)!
