Additional information :
- Format: Four 6-hour races, one of 1000 Miles (Petit Le Mans) one of 12 Hours Sebring) and one of 24 Hours (Le Mans).
- Petit Le Mans is a 1000-Mile race (1609 kms) with a maximum duration of 10 hours.
- Double points will be awarded for the Le Mans 24 Hours compared to the other events counting towards the ILMC classifications.
- The 2011 ILMC will finish in China. Once the circuit has been selected its name will be communicated straight away.
- The Chinese round of the 2011 ILMC will be held on a Saturday.
- The Le Mans 24-Hours test day will take place on Sunday 24th April 2011.

SEVEN LEGENDARY CIRCUITS

SEBRING (USA) 19TH MARCH 2011
The Sebring International Raceway (Sebring Florida, USA) has hosted the Sebring 12 Hours since 1952, and has been part of the American Le Mans Series since 1999. It measures 5,95 kms and is laid out on a former USA Air Force base, and some parts of the circuit still use the runways made from concrete slabs. The first F1 World Championship GP in the USA was held there in 1959. Since 1997, the circuit has belonged to the Panoz Motor Sports Group.

SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS (BEL) 8TH MAY 2011
The first version of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit near the towns of Spa, Malmedy and Stavelot in the Ardennes goes back to 1921. It is a very fast and selective track and measures 7,004 kms. It has been renovated on several occasions, and is one of the favourites of spectators and drivers alike. Spa has hosted 46 rounds of the F1 World Championship since its creation in 1950. The Spa 24 Hours race is also held there as well as numerous other national and international events. Since 2004, the Spa 1000 kms, one of the most famous endurance events the first of which goes back to 1966, has been part of the Le Mans Series calendar.

LE MANS (FRA) 11TH AND 12TH JUNE 2011
The circuit on which the most famous endurance race in the world has been run since 1923 needs no introduction. It is also one of the legendary events in the world of motor sport. The layout that has been modified on several occasions since the first race, today measures 13,629 kms (since 2007). One of its particularities is that it is not a permanent circuit. The 79th Le Mans 24 Hours on 11th/12th June 2011 is part of the ILMC Calendar. It is the only event of this duration and double points will be awarded. It is the first time since 1992 that the Le Mans 24 Hours has been part of a World Championship or International Cup.

IMOLA (ITA) 3RD JULY 2011
The Enzo and Dino Ferrari circuit is in Imola (Emilie-Romagne) not far from Bologna and Maranello, the home of the Scuderia Ferrari. It measures 4,909 kms and was first used in 1950. It has hosted 26 F1 Italian or San Marino Grand Prix. The track has been modified and improved on several occasions since its creation, and its specificity is that it is a counter clockwise layout. Its infrastructure has recently been renovated. Although it does not have a long endurance tradition, this quick circuit with its long sweeping curves is the ideal environment for a round of the ILMC.

SILVERSTONE (GBR) 11TH SEPTEMBER 2011
The Silverstone circuit is located between the towns of Milton Keynes and Northampton and Oxford. It measures 5,901 kms and is laid out on a former Royal Air Force base, and was used for the first time in 1948. It has undergone several modifications since then, and since 1950 it has hosted the British F1 Grand prix (without a break since 1987). Forty-four F1 GPs have been held there. It is an historic, prestigious and fast track on which many other car and motor bike events have been organized. All the major endurance championships have been held there in either 6 Hours or 1000 kms format since 1976. The Silverstone 1000 kms has been an integral part of the Le Mans Series since 2004 (2005 excepted).

ROAD ATLANTA (USA) 1ST OCTOBER 2011
The Road Atlanta circuit in Braselton (Georgia) has been open since September 1970, the date on which a round of the defunct CamAm Championship was held there. It measures 4,088 kms and has hosted a large of number of events for both cars and bikes. It was bought by Don Panoz in 1996 as he wanted to make it the base for his racing activities. It has been heavily revamped since then. The first Petit Le Mans was held there in 1998, and the circuit has been part of the American Le Mans Series calendar since the creation of the championship in 1999. The Petit Le Mans is a 1000-Mile race (1609 kms) or 10 hours maximum.
