Quifel-ASM Team will not participate in last two rounds of the Le Mans Series at Silverstone 2011 (Sept. 11) and Estoril (September 25).

After the great results in LM P2 in recent years (including the Le Mans Series 2009 class title) of the Zytek duo Olivier Pla / Miguel Amaral, Quifel-ASM Team decided to race in the premier class of LM P1 with the same car for the 2011 season.

After a difficult start to the season and a retirement in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Zytek did not race in the 6 Hours of Imola in July. Whatever may have been the reasons that led to the premature end of the season, we hope to see Quifel-ASM Team on track next year. With the creation of the World Endurance Championship in 2012 and the new guidelines expected in the Le Mans Series, the winners of the first major revival of Portuguese endurance racing deserves to find its place in an exciting future.
