Spa-Francorchamps : The first Toyota - Audi confrontation.

The second round of the World Endurance Championship (WEC), which will be held on May 5, will be the first race for the new Toyota Hybrid prototype TS030. 

For many years already, the race in the Belgian Ardennes has been the scene of the great dress rehearsal for the Le Mans 24 Hours. This will more than ever be the case in 2012, with the emergence of hybrid prototypes of the two main opponents of the WEC.

Entrusted to Alexander Wurz, Nicolas Lapierre and Kazuki Nakajima, the Toyota TS030 will face the hybrid version of the Audi R18 TDI, which will also debut at Spa-Francorchamps; a first taste of the big event of the 80th Le Mans 24 Hours (June 16-17), where the Japanese automaker will launch a second car, whose crew will be announced shortly.
