Muscle Milk with a Honda LM P1

After racing a Lola (2007, 2008), Porsche (2009, 2010) and Aston Martin (2011), Muscle Milk ( ex CytoSport) looks to Honda! With this new association, the team continues its commitment to the ALMS LM P1 class.

Vice champion in ALMS this season, Muscle Milk abandons the Aston Martin DBR1-2 for an HPD ARX-03a identical to that of Strakka Racing in the WEC. The engine used is of course the Honda V8 3.4-litre unit derived from that fitted to the Acura LM P2 between 2007 and 2010. German drivers Graf and Luhr are renewed, as are the Michelin tyres.

Remember that this is a new car inspired by the ARX-01e which, for its only appearance in competition, took second in the 12 Hours of Sebring 2011 at the hands of Brabham, Franchitti and Pagenaud.

Muscle Milk will take possession of the new car in mid-January, two months before the race that will start in the first round of the WEC on the 17th March at Sebring.
