LM GTE Pro Category

The LM GTEs are derived from sports or supercars and are road-going vehicles with petrol engines only. For major manufacturers the minimum production figure is 100 models, and for small constructors 25. At least 300 engines must have been made. Cars with a carbon chassis are accepted provided at least 300 examples have been built.

95% of the LM GTE regulations are based on the former LM GT2 rules. Supercharged engines are fitted with air restrictors. All engines must remain in their original location and position.
The LM GTEs may be equipped with a steering-wheel mounted paddle gearshift.
Open or closed bodywork. Flat bottom obligatory. Wing dimensions: 45 cm long, 15 cm high, 91% of the width of the series production car.

LM GTE Pro category is reserved for professionals with no restrictions on either models or drivers. Drivers from all categories are eligible. The performance balancing system already existing in the ACO regulations will be adjusted from the third race of the season (all series combined: ILMC, ALMS and LMS) to guarantee a level playing field from a sporting point of view. Only two modifications to the car are allowed per season.
