Put to work unloading the Japanese prototype, Sebastien Bourdais and Nicolas Minassian took the opportunity to cast their seats. They showed the importance of this step, the first of a long road that will lead up to the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Sébastien Bourdais, driver : "An intense and productive first day! The mechanics have already started to dismantle the Dome, but we have almost completed to finalize the driving positions. The chassis of the Dome is impressive, very solid and strong. It really is the means to do something good. "
Nicolas Minassian, "The car had been there for a few hours and we are already working towards Le Mans. The team is motivated and already in full swing. We feel this euphoria."
Henri Pescarolo, team boss : "A big gift package from Japan arrived this morning in the workshop. Sébastien Bourdais and Nicolas Minassian surrounded by the whole team Pescarolo Team have unwrapped their new toy. The beautiful Dome S 102.5 immediately found its place in the workshop. With three programs to manage at the same time, it is a hive of activity: one side the Pescarolo 01 in final preparation before leaving for Sebring (Jean Christophe Boullion was also there to cast his tub), the other the Pescarolo 03 being assembled for the WEC, and the Dome before its first test in early March. After a quiet winter, it is really fun to see such activity. Everyone had a big smile. "
Ricardo Divila, Dome engineer : "It's good to come home! We really appreciate the friendliness and efficiency deployed to carry out the Dome 102.5 project. In Japan the team is also hyper-motivated, impressed to work on such a project with a team that is regarded as a legend in Japan."
