"The spectators saw one of the most impressive races of the history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. I would like also to congratulate our opponents Peugeot who have been a fantastic adversary. Not only two of the most famous manufacturers won today this fantastic race but it is also a victory for the Automobile Club de l’Ouest. It is the second time that we win the 24 Hours of Le Mans Trophy. The first trophy was won after the three consecutive victories in 2000, 2001 and 2003 and we win again today after winning the race in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
I would like to add that I am proud of winning this trophy was won with the Tdi technology. We should announce our next participation in November as our program for competition is based on five years racing."
