For the second occasion (the first time in 1993) Jean-Claude LEFEBVRE received the « Prix de la communication » of the Le Mans 24 hours. The winner is voted by a panel of journalists covering the 2008 running of the 24 hours of Le Mans.

The communications director of Peugeot insisted that the other members of the press relations staff be associated with these honors: Cécile Estenave, Chris Williams, Hervé Jothy, Jean-Briac Dalibard, Linda Martins…

The communications officer of the marque that is recognizable by its lion symbol only marginaly won over second place Marjorie Esteveny (Press relations of team Oreca). Other votes were for: Michelin, Guillaume Moreau, Luc Alphand, Emanuele Pirro, Allan Mc Nish, Madie Pescarolo, Alexander Wurz, Stephan Gervais, Jennifer Hart, George Howard-Chappell, Eva-Maria Burkhardt, etc.

The Prix Jean-Rondeau for the best young driver was won by Loïc DUVAL (Team Oreca-Mamut).

The Prix de l’ESCRA for the best assistance was won by the technical staff of the Team FLYING LIZARD.
