Photo : Yoann BOULAY - ACO/Nikon | The race has so far been very challenging but equally rewarding for Luc Alphand: "We are fine so far, the finish is coming closer now, and we are still in the race. This morning things were a bit tough with the very bad weather conditions. When we were able to switch back to slicks, things became easier again. The #72 car is running 5th behind the 2 works Aston Martins and the 2 works Corvettes and #73 is 6th.
If we can make it to the chequered flag for the 8th time, we will be proud of our accomplishment. I‘d also like to thank the spectators for their support; weather conditions have been very bad for them too, and still, they stood by us and cheered us along all the time."
