‘I missed last year’s race which was very frustrating. This is fantastic and even better than the last two wins. We had good competition, we didn’t think we would be on the podium. It is a great result for Henri Pescarolo.’ Romain Dumas ‘We did the best we could, we had three drivers who were all very similar. We had good battles on track between the petrol and the diesel cars and we were the best petrol driven car. We couldn’t choose the weather conditions. We didn’t expect to be 3rd given the rivals we had. We hoped our rivals would have reliability problems so that we could move up. For a private team this is the best we could do.’ Emmanuel Collard ‘It is a fantastic result, we didn’t start as fast as we could have, we were a little slower than Peugeot and Audi. I am happy for the team, we had no real problems and all went off well. The end of the race was run under very difficult conditions, it was very bad, we had trouble staying with the pace car and it was horrible.’ |
