No.007 Aston Martin spins near Indianapolis

10:52 hrs. Tomas Enge, while driving the No.007 Aston Martin Racing Aston Martin DBR9, had a dramatic spin near Indianapolis as result of a puncture in the front left tyre. He emerged from the dust going slowly, and headed back to the pits.

11:54 hrs. More news about the No.007 Aston Martin Racing Aston Martin DBR9. Peter Kox, one of the drivers in the 007 car tells us, “We've got the car from tenth to the front. Johnny went off early this morning, and then we started pushing hard and catching Bouchut but he would not let us pass. Then Tomas went off (at 10:54). We've just had a problem with the belt coming off the alternator pulley which took 5 minutes to fix. Now the car has been back in (at 11.40hrs) with a broken boot lid which we have had to change as it could be dangerous.” The reason for the replacement boot lid was that the original one had been damaged when Tomas Enge had his rather violent spin at Michelin Chicane.
