No. 93 destroys Playstation chicane & No. 16 Pescarolo moves into 3rd place

At 13:06, as the rain continued to fall, the No.93 Autorlando Sport Porsche 911 GT3 RSR (997) driven by Allan Simonsen dramatically ran through the barrier at the PlayStation Chicane, ending up with the tyre barrier draped across the top of the car. The car did not pit despite having damage to both the front and the rear of the car, including the loss of its rear wing.

At 13:08, the No.16 Pescarolo Sport Pescarolo Judd moved into third place overall and third in LMP1 after the Peugeot No.7 was forced into the garage for repairs.
